Monarchs

I visited the butterflies today.

There is a Monarch butterfly wintering site near school, and they are just beginning to arrive. Orange and flickering, they circle the grove until settling on branches to masquerade as leaves.

Have you run into the albino squirrel yet to tell him you're back?
Squish some seaweed for me!

No, I haven't seen that particular little critter, but I did seem some squirrels near the physical sciences building that made me wonder what happened to my albino friend.

Oooh, pretty butterflies! Over here, anything that's got sense is leaving.

Ah! So pretty. I'd much prefer that to the ice and snow here!
